Directions:
From Frankfort: Take U. S. Highway 127 South and the courthouse is located in downtown Lawrenceburg. It is approximately 14 miles from Frankfort. From Lexington: Take the Bluegrass Parkway and exit the Lawrenceburg Exit, 127 North. The courthouse is approximately 30 miles from Lexington and 50 miles from Louisville.

Parking is available in the lot behind the courthouse. Handicapped parking is available directly beside the courthouse.

The main courthouse and the courthouse annex is handicapped accessible. An elevator accesses both the Circuit and District Courtrooms.
Services:
Lawsuits in which the amount of money in controversy exceeds $4,000 and over are filed in the Circuit Court jurisdiction. Dissolution of marriage, adoption actions, child custody actions and felony criminal actions are filed in Circuit Court. Lawsuits less than $4,000, small claims actions (up to $1,500 amount claimed) domestic violence, probate matter, traffic and misdemeanor actions are filed in the District Court jurisdiction.
