Directions:
Take the Louisa Exit off U.S. 23 and go to the second red light in town. Turn left. We are the second building on the left beside Louisa Methodist Church. We are located in the Judicial Annex part of the Lawrence County Courthouse, on the Ground Floor.

Handicapped bathroom facilities and a wheelchair ramp are available in the main courthouse.

Any and all court proceedings in District, Circuit and Family Courts consisting of paternity, juvenile dependency and neglect, probating an estate, divorce cases, eviction, domestic violence, adoption, changing your name, property disputes, contract cases, personal injury, Small Claims, citations for speeding, DUI and Public Intoxication, murder cases; Also identification cards and drivers license
Drivers License Information:
Driver's testing is done on Thursdays and Fridays only. Permit testing is at 12 p.m. and road testing is done at 8:30 a.m. The motorcycle road test is done on the last Thursday of the month at 10 a.m., by appointment only.
