Directions:
When traveling on I-71, take Exit 28 and take Highway 153 to Highway 42. Turn right. It is nine miles to Bedford, Ky. When you arrive at the only stoplight in town, you will be looking at the courthouse.

Parking:
Parking is available around the courthouse with handicapped parking designated in front of the courthouse building.

Hours of Operation:

Monday: 
8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 
8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 
8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: 
8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 
8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Saturday: 
8 a.m. - 12 p.m. (First Saturday of each month only)

Holidays/Closings:
Closed for all state holidays

Drivers License Information:
Written and road tests are on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. Road tests are from 8:30 - 11 a.m. and by appointment ONLY. Call 502-255-3525 for road test appointment. Motorcycle road tests are only on 2nd Friday of the month and by appointment only. 

Written testing is 1 - 3 p.m. on 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month.

To obtain a permit you must have:

*Certified birth certificate
*Social security card that is NOT LAMINATED
*Parent/Guardian signature (if under 18 years old)
*School compliance verification

Everyone taking a road test must have:
*Your current driving permit
*60 hour driving log/10 hours must occur at night
*Current Insurance & registration
*Licensed driver over 21 years of age
*No rental cars allowed

The Kentucky Driver Manual is only available at the Kentucky State Police Website.

Jury Duty information:
*Grand Jury members meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 1 p.m. unless otherwise notified.
*All jurors may call 502-255-3328 to confirm jury trial dates/times/cancellations. This line is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Court Dates and times:
*Circuit Civil: meets the 1st Friday of each month at 9 a.m.
*Circuit Criminal and Grand Jury: meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 1 p.m.
*Family Court: meets 2nd Monday of each month
         9 a.m. - Juvenile cases of Dependency, Neglect and Abuse
         1 p.m. - Civil Motion Hour
         2 p.m. - Emergency Protective Orders and Domestic Violence Orders
*Family Court meets 4th Monday of each month
         9 a.m. - Juvenile cases of Status and Paternity
         1 p.m. - Civil Motion Hour
         2 p.m. - Emergency Protective Orders and Domestic Violence Orders

District Court meets EVERY Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Information for Patrons with Special Needs:
Bathroom facilities, an elevator and handicapped ramps are available.

Services:
Residents of Trimble County may obtain an operator's license and the following: Small Claims, Forcible Detainers, Estate Probates, Domestic Violence, Circuit Civil, Circuit Criminal,etc. may be filed in the Office of the Circuit Court Clerk.

Forms of Payment Accepted:
Cash, checks, and money orders. Epay online if citation is prepayable.
