Division of Judicial Branch Education
The Division of Judicial Branch Education develops and delivers strategies for continuing judicial branch education and training to members of the Kentucky Court of Justice.
The Division of Judicial Branch Education provides continuing judicial and professional education seminars for judges and court support personnel. Supreme Court Rule 8 establishes mandatory judicial education for justices and judges of the Court of Justice. They are required to attend at least 25 hours of approved programs in a two-year period. Circuit and District judges have annual judicial colleges and specialty programs when needed.
