Class Schedule - February, 2010
Call the Families in Transition Program at (502) 595-3618 to schedule your attendance within 30 days of the filing/service date of the divorce petition; or if you have any questions regarding the program.. Please arrive at the site at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the first night's meeting time to allow for registration.
Be advised: The sites will not accept personal checks as payment for their fee ($75 per parent). Payment must be made in the form of cash.
Notes:
- The fee is $75.00 in CASH per parent. Only cash will be accepted as payment. No other form of payment will be accepted. There is no fee for child(ren).
- No admittance to the session if you are more than 10 minutes late.
- All scheduled sessions (6 hours) must be completed in order to receive your certificate
- We do not send out written confirmation of registration. When you call to register, write it down.
- You can not attend the same session as your spouse -- No Exceptions. One spouse will attend a parent-child group (escorting the child) and the other spouse will attend a parent only group.
- Any children of the marriage aged 5-17 are also court ordered to attend this class.
- The Court requires SIX HOURS of divorce education. These classes fill up quickly.
- The court will be notified if you miss, cancel, or change your scheduled class time. If you miss a session, you will be required to start over and pay an additional fee.
- You can not complete your sessions at different sites.
