Supreme Court and State Law Library Temporary Location Information
The Supreme Court of Kentucky's Capitol offices, the Supreme Court Clerk's Office and the State Law Library will open at their temporary home at 669 Chamberlin Ave. in late June 2025 after moving from the Capitol. The Capitol is closing for a multiyear renovation. More information is available on the Supreme Court webpage.
Franklin County Court Temporary Location Information
As of Monday, June 2, Franklin County court operations will temporarily move to 1001 Vandalay Drive. The site is located on the campus of the Administrative Office of the Courts and formerly housed Home Depot. Many criminal court proceedings will continue at the Franklin County Regional Jail, 400 Coffee Tree Road.
The Franklin County Courthouse at 222 St. Clair St. remains closed as flood remediation continues. No court business is taking place at that location. For more information on court operations and proceedings, visit the
