The Kentucky General Assembly approved the Boyd County project in 2005 and authorized its funding in 2006. The total project cost was $18.85 million for 60,800 square feet.
The Louis & Henry Group architectural firm of Louisville, Ky. designed the Boyd County Judicial Center. Codell Construction Co. of Winchester was the construction manager for the project and Ross, Sinclaire & Associates the financial agent.
