The Kentucky Court of Justice has earned a national reputation for its efforts to create a process that would fairly and objectively assess court facility needs. The innovative and progressive Facilities Management System (FMS) ensures that tax dollars are spent wisely by identifying the facilities with the greatest needs for new construction, renovation, expansion and adaptation.
The Administrative Office of the Courts develops court facility projects authorized by the Kentucky General Assembly prior to June 1, 2012, in accordance with the Kentucky Court of Justice Rules of Administrative Procedure, Part X: Real Property Management, Sections I, II and III (May 2007).
Court facility projects authorized by the Kentucky General Assembly after June 1,2012, are developed in accordance with the Kentucky Court of Justice Rules of Administative Procedures, Part X: Capital Construction Program, Sections I (June 2012), II (May 2007) and III (May 2007).
