| 1. Attorney prepares a Petition of Dissolution, to include Form 507 (Notification of Divorce Involving Minor Children) in ALL cases where there are minor children of the marriage. |

| 2. Attorney files Petition of Dissolution along with Form 507. Attorney also files a copy of Form 507 with the FCSW (Family Court Support Worker). |

| 3. Attorney chooses the method of service on the Respondent. |
|
|
| 4. If the family qualifies (children of this marriage are ages 8 through 16 years) the Petitioner is ORDERED into the FIT program. Attorney receives FIT packet that includes information about the program, Court Order of attendance and a schedule of FIT classes for the Petitioner. |

|
| 5. Respondent when served also receives FIT information. |
|
|
| 6. The Jefferson Family Court Clerk's Office sends Form 507 to FIT, where data from Form 507 is entered into the FIT computerized tracking system. |
|
|
|
| 7. The Party(s) contact the FIT office and make a reservation(s) to attend FIT classes. (AND....) |
If a Party DOES NOT contact the FIT office to make a reservation to attend within 30 days.... |

|
| 8. The Party(s) completes the FIT program within 60 days. |
A letter from FIT is delivered restating the LEGAL obligation to make a reservation AND complete the FIT program within 30 days. |
|
|
|
| 9. A Completion Certificate is forwarded to the FIT Office by the FIT site. |
If Party(s) DO contact FIT and make a reservation to attend; AND... |
|
|
|
| 10. The FIT office files the Certificate(s) into the Court file. |
The Party(s)complete the FIT program within 30 days... |

|
|
9. A Completion Certificate is forwarded to the FIT Office by the FIT site. |
