Chief Justice Lambert to announce initiative by courts and child welfare officials to improve service given to Kentucky's children

During the Adoption Blue Ribbon Panel meeting on Tuesday, Chief Justice Lambert will announce a major initiative designed to improve the way state courts and child welfare systems can work together on behalf of Kentucky's families and children. The announcement will take place at 2 p.m. as part of the Blue Ribbon Panel meeting scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

April is National Child Abuse Awareness Month.
